There are a good many idiots in this world, and part of being able to see randomness is not letting the idiot obscuring your current view affect your faith in randomness. There are times when murphy strikes more often, and when humans seem more cold.
Many would lose faith, yet some just grow less bold. The difference here is functional, a belief that randomness holds.
