So many people treat their ideas like they treat their children: As if they are unique special flowers that need to be protected and allowed to flourish and grow.
Guess what: No one gives a crap about your flower.
Hence, by all means let your flower bloom, just make sure that it's for the right people.
That said, a flower is still special, and deserves all the right to bloom and not be stepped on, even if you think it's special in the wrong way.
