New knowledge changes you. You see new revelations, and experience new truth.
Along with that knowledge, often comes the strange compulsion to tell someone about what you've learnt.
Of course, it's more likely that people don't listen. More insidious, is that you're now busying yourself with the unproductive (though satisfying) task of preaching in your little fishbowl, ignoring the big-wide world out there.
Resist that urge; Show, then tell (even when asked).
