Individual people have faces. They have names, and they have their idiosyncrasies. That's why interactions with people are some of the more rewarding things to do on a daily basis.
Humans, on the other hand, are scum. They pollute. They're selfish. They're corrupt. They're motivated by greed and profit, they're emotionally fallible, and they're slaves to avarice.
Whenever I find myself riffing about bad systems and the humans behind them, I try to think about them as people. When I find myself agreeing with everything someone has to say, I try to think about them as just another human.
That's the most straightforward path to tranquility.
